Family and Friends

Well we've been in Houston now just a little over 2 1/2 weeks and our time is flying by. We've been having a blast seeing all our family and some friends. Bob & I have been truly blessed to have so many good friends in our lives. Our social schedule has been jammed packed with milestone birthday parties; My Step Dad's 60th, My best friend, Trechell's 40th, and my Grandmother's 90th. We've attended BBQ's, had a fabulous time w/ our friends Pete & Nancy at their compound, fished at Lake Livingston w/ Chris & Jodi, and I hooked up with one of my best friends from High School, Stephanie Porter. She and I hadn't seen one another in 18 years. We picked up right where we left off and didn't miss a beat. Just made me realize how much I have missed her in my life. She's one of those positive people and full of life. We still have a family reunion to attend in Dallas, a trip to Austin to visit more family & friends, and our 4th of July will be spent in Rockport. So, you see we're making the most of our time here in Texas and having a great time. We'll be heading to Corpus today to celebrate my Grandmother's 90th. Can't to give her a big hug. She's awesome. Plus, I'll be able to spend time with my family living down there. We've definitely we need 2 computers between Bob & I. He's been so busy researching our next traveling ventures that my time on the computer is minimal. I have tons a pictures to post and lots to talk about but until we buy another computer I'm hosed. It's been good being home and we're enjoying our time here. We hope everyone is doing well too. Until Bob forfeits the computer! Bonnie.
