Slight Change of plans

Hello family and friends, Looks like we have a slight change of plans. After reviewing bus schedules from Cali to Quito we've decided to change our next destination due to the distance. Neither one of us felt like being on a bus for 18 - 20 hours. With that being said, we are heading to Popayan, Colombia. Have you heard of it? Neither had we. We should have a 3 hour bus ride on Friday with buses running every hour out of Cali. I'm sure we'll get some breakfast first and then head on out. Popayan looks like a cool colonial town. It's nicked named the "White City" due to all the white washed homes and large churches. This city should keep us busy for a couple of days seeing museums, galleries, hot thermal springs, restaurants, cafes and parks. Popayan looks a little more upscale than the large cities we've just visited Cali and Medellin. We'll look forward to our new venture. We do have reservation and we'll be staying at The Guesthouse. WIFI will be provided so that we can keep in touch. I just love the modern conveniences of the computer, internet access and Skype. Simply beautiful! We're thinking 2 nights in Popayan and then moving on to Quito. Subject to change? Of course! But we'll keep you posted. We love you guys! Bonnie & Bob
